They periodically list their soup of the day, but mostly it's an impersonal, "Just a reminder that we're closed today."

Julie- As mad as I get, the food outweighs the service.

Linda- That's awful! It's so dangerous that people appropriate the word vegan without actually knowing what it means. I blame the "almost" and "practically" vegans who have diluted it into pseudo-vegetarianism. Thank goodness it was prepared in front of you, but really? Butter on a banh mi? That's a new one.

urban vegan- Gas it up! That sammie is the BEST!

foodfeud- You hit the nail on the head: bad service is when it makes you uncomfortable.

littleveganbear- they originally served them as thin fries, but the wedges are so much better. In fact, they're even better than they look.

Abby Beanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03060920122127099172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-710373573705518216.post-14467617659244068192013-09-23T03:47:34.155-07:002013-09-23T03:47:34.155-07:00Oh my god...those wedges! Usually good food is enough to please me.
I admire yr eye to detail, though, and wish S&V had the same.foodfeudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00589414740603993442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-710373573705518216.post-86655061980072542332013-09-21T18:49:01.160-07:002013-09-21T18:49:01.160-07:00Been dying to try this place. I ordered a "vegan banh mi" from a cafe the other day and the first thing the guy did was put butter on it!" I said, "um is that dairy butter?" "Yes ma'am" "um...isn't this supposed to be a vegan banh mi?" "Yes ma'am" "um...butter isn't vegan..." "Oh...you want it without butter?"

Oh dear! It was awful anyway. Didn't have much more than plain, cold tofu and grated carrot. :-/Linda from the Lentil Institutionhttp://lentilinstitution.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-710373573705518216.post-5157069244340613782013-09-21T09:42:38.597-07:002013-09-21T09:42:38.597-07:00I've heard good things about the food at Sprig...I've heard good things about the food at Sprig & Vine, though I've never been there myself.
