Amy's Kitchen Vegan Margherita Pizza Swirls- Quick Review

As I stated over on Instagram, I'm a huge fan of all things vegan by Amy's Kitchen and these new vegan, margherita (pizza) swirls are no exception.

I've eaten more than my fair share of their incredible vegan margherita pizzas, but they're a tad pricey for one meal and I do not possess the self control to only eat half of it at a time. Enter: the less expensive and seemingly more portion controlled swirls.

I'm not gonna lie; in comparison, the pizza swirls looked like they'd be much less filling and, frankly, a little dry. Well, I'm happy to report that nope and NOPE. They were actually quite perfect.

I have a special affinity for finger foods, so this one is definitely staying on the must-have-in-freezer-at-all-times list.

If you can find them, I highly recommend picking them up. They do seem to be a little bit elusive right now, so stock up when you have the opportunity! I know I will.

Amy's Vegan Margherita Pizza

This post is long overdue, but I've been kinda busy just eating these so you'll have to forgive me.

Amy's vegan margherita pizza with Daiya "cheeze" is, hands down, the best frozen vegan pizza out there.

Amy's is a really cool company: they're family-owned, dedicated to non-GMO, and just opened a drive-thru fast food joint in Cali! While I think we can all agree that they should transition from all vegetarian to all vegan products already, I still have to admit that this pizza is the crowning achievement of all their products thus far.

I know this looks like a mere sprinkling of cheese, but as someone who loves gads of cheese, I assure you that it is a prime serving. Coupled with the sweet and spicy (just add your own red pepper flakes) sauce on a doughy, but not too doughy; thin, but not too thin crust: this is the pizza of my dreams. And, although it's frozen, it heats to perfection in just ten minutes!

I always smother mine in fresh, baby, organic arugula (89-preferred), but add or don't the toppings of your choice; I'm not the boss of you.

I'm warning you that I've been on kind of a pizza kick these days, so expect more, albeit inferior, pizza reviews coming your way. Squirrels are stashing their nuts for the winter and I'm filling my gullet with pizza; to every thing there is a season.

Amy's Kitchen Proof of Purchase Promotion = Free Swag!!

When I read this blog post about Amy's proof of purchase promotion*, I couldn't believe my eyes.  I've been eating Amy's Kitchen products for years- first as a vegetarian (non-stop burritos) and now as a vegan (all soup, all the time); there was no telling how many p.o.p.s I'd thrown out!  A good friend and I immediately called a meeting and quickly decided to pool our resources for an optimum timely return.  Before we knew it, this was in my mailbox.

Yep, from them.

The biggest item enclosed was this handy-dandy, insulated, reusable lunchbag.

Next up, these completely adorable magnets!

yes, I realize they are not all for vegan products

Also, these great coupons:

And more awesome coupons:

And check out these super generous coupons:

Let's face it, I'd be buying Amy's no matter what, but this unofficial incentive kind of makes me buy more and consume them faster; it's like a game and I want to win!  I kind of guess that's the point, but that's okay; it's win-win.  A giant thank you to Amy's for all of the great products, and for rewarding customer loyalty.  I am slightly obsessed with their soups, always having roughly 16-32 on hand because I stock up when they're on sale (They make a great meal!  I don't have the skillz time to make my own soup!  Don't judge me!), but I do believe I'm going to treat myself by using one of the coupons to buy an Amy's pizza.  And, while he highly recommends the pot pie, if I had to guess, my infinitely more health-conscious friend will be using his towards his regular cache.  Or, if I can convince him to splurge, maybe some Amy's Daiya mac 'n cheese?  No matter what, we will both put this booty to very good use.

*As far as I know, this promotion is unofficial; there's no guarantee that it will continue.  Good luck!
